Learn to Skate with Us
Skateaway specialises in arranging ice skating lessons and international ice skating seminars for skaters of all ages and abilities. With over twenty years experience Skateaway is a successful, well established brand that is proud to connect skaters with great coaching and fun experiences.
The Olympic size outdoor ice rink is situated approximately 10 minutes walk from the hotel. We have a highly qualified coaching team presenting the seminar who specialise in ice dance & free skating. The seminar is for 60 minutes each day for 5 days and following the seminar we have a public session where skaters have the opportunity to practice and take private lessons with music. The ice skating seminar consists of warm up and edge work, then the skaters split into different groups to specialise in either free skating, dance or basic skating.
9am - 10am Ice skating Seminar
10am Onwards Public Session for practice and private lessons.
The public session must be paid directly to the ice rink you can normally purchase a book of tickets which makes it cheaper.
Private Lessons can be arranged with any of our coaching team who specialise in all disciplines
Skateaway have selected the Hotel Post & Spa in Seefeld which is a superb four star hotel with a 4.5 rating on trip advisor. The hotel is situated perfectly in the centre of the pedestrian area amongst the shops and local bars and eateries. The recently renovated hotel now boasts a fantastic 3 floor spa with panoramic views over Seefeld. Each room has bathrobes and slippers. The hotel serves a five course dinner of culinary delights, sparkling wine breakfast including omelette chef and a hot and cold delightful buffet. Mid-afternoon there is a buffet meal, with hot soup and a hot dish, with tea/coffee and cakes.
